Just seeing that headline in my slashdock news scanner was enough to put a shine on the evening for me. If you really want to the product, you can but it really isn't that funny. But the headline is, right?
Perhaps if it included video of how they obtained it, it would be worth it. It bears pointing out that someone has bid at least $10.50 for this item and they are legally bound to fulfill that payment.
A source placed in a highly sensitive work environment gave me inside information that Bush is going to declare war within the next 72 hours. All I can say is that I hope the dollar plunges against the yen because I have to send back some cash to pay off some debts.
Remember, you heard it here first.
Well, its pretty obvious that I've succeeded beyond all possible expectations in creating this site.
It was pretty tough too. It involved downloading a tarball, editing 4 lines of code with path names of web directories, uploading two different types of files (ASCII and binary!), and setting permissions.
I also had to pull some strings with some system admins who owe me some favors to get some server side elements squared away, but I have prevailed.
I'm probably overqualified for most of the available tech jobs out there, I'd say.
Here is my tricky attempt to post an image in an entry.
I finally figured out the fucking HTML code for an image. Too much BBCode make me stupidier!
Testes, Testes.
Gotta see how the page looks with more than one entry. I sure hope this template shifts the links to the right side of the page.
After fumbling the ball on the return and getting sacked 7 of 8 snaps on the first drive, Gusalmighty hit me for a huge touchdown and we've got this fucker up and running. Now that we have a blog, we're legit and now have earned the right to have a website that requires no effort whatsoever to look good (other than posting to it).
Of course, everyone will post one or two stupid entries flapping their arms and squawking that they made it through the login screen and could find the 'new entry' button and then this page will die a slow death. At least it didn't take much effort and only about 2 months.
